Burton G. Malkiel

Burton G. Malkiel nasceu em Boston, no Massachusetts, em 1932. É economista e professor de Economia na Universidade de Princeton. Formou-se no Harvard College e na Harvard Graduate School of Business. Depois de uma viagem de três anos como primeiro-tenente do Corpo de Finanças do Exército dos EUA, ingressou na empresa de investimentos Smith, Barney & Co. como banqueiro de investimentos. Doutorou-se em Princeton em 1964.

Charles D. Ellis, nascido em outubro de 1937, é um consultor de investimentos norte-americano. Em 1972, fundou a Greenwich Associates, consultora estratégica internacional focada em instituições financeiras e líder mundial, onde permaneceu durante 30 anos. Tornou-se depois consultor de investimentos para grandes investidores institucionais, organizações governamentais e famílias abastadas.
