Chris Whitaker

Chris Whitaker, que reside em Hertfordshire, é o multipremiado autor de Tall Oaks, All the Wicked Girls e We Begin at the End. Os seus três romances foram acolhidos pela crítica com elogios unânimes – Tall Oaks viria a vencer o CWA New Blood Dagger Award, em 2017, e We Begin at the End (bestseller imediato do New York Times, e mais tarde do Washington Post) acaba de vencer o CWA Gold Dagger – Melhor Thriller do Ano, a mais alta distinção da Crime Writers Association, sendo também finalista vencedor do Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year 2021 e do Ned Kelly International Award, outros dos mais prestigiantes prémios deste género literário.
