Francisco Piedade Vaz

Francisco Piedade Vaz is a graduate of the Portuguese Naval Academy, holding an MBA in Religious Studies and a PhD in Maritime History. He is currently a researcher at the Centro de História da Universidade de Lisboa (CHUL) and at the Centro de Investigação Naval of the Portuguese Navy (CINAV). In addition to his research activities, he is a regular contributor to the magazine Revista da Armada and Correspondent Member of the Portuguese Navy’s Academia de Marinha.
